Manu Gupta

Manu invests in early stage Internet companies with a focus on emerging markets. He has over 10 years of broad experience across the technology sector, across disciplines of engineering, product management, corporate finance and investing.

Previously, Manu was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, and led the Internet coverage effort in Europe, based out of London, focusing on M&A and IPOs. He spent time examining businesses across e-commerce, marketing services, digital music and video, online gaming, and online travel. Prior to Goldman London, Manu worked in Goldman’s San Francisco office, focusing on software and Internet transactions, including spending a year executing Yahoo’s $44bn approach from Microsoft. Manu began his career by holding roles as both a Software Engineer and Product Manager at Oracle Corporation.

Manu holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
