Dr. Nikolai Riesenkampff is Executive Director of the board. He joined Skrill in June 2005 as Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining Skrill, Nikolai was in charge of Business Development and Corporate Development at Lycos Europe (Bertelsmann Group). He previously established Lycos Europe’s US sales operations in Boston and New York and was responsible for building large eCommerce partnerships.

Nikolai is an attorney and practiced law for two years after graduating from the Freie Universität of Berlin (FU) with a degree in Law and receiving his PhD from the University of Heidelberg.
