Jorge received his PhD degree in computer engineering from Universidad de Zaragoza in 2011. His PhD studies were sponsored by the Advanced Technology Lab of Adobe Systems where he interned in 2007 and 2008. He was a post-doc at INRIA-REVES group and joined the Multimodal Simulation Lab (URJC) in 2013. He has twice won the prestigious Juan de la Cierva Fellowship by the Government of Spain. He has supervised 14 MSc theses and published over 25 papers in top-tier conferences and journals in rendering, visualization, image processing and editing tools for artists. He founded 2 startups, authored 5 patents and transferred technology to companies such as Autodesk, Adobe, Next Limit, and ACTIVISION. He serves as a reviewer and committee member on major conferences and journals of his field.
