Karina brings with her an extensive background in computational neuroscience and brain research. Karina pursued her award-winning research in the area of non-linear dynamical computational systems at the Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology, under the direction of Prof. Josh Zeevi.
Karina served as COO and VP Product of Cortica for 8 years. Karina has a vast experience in product characterization & development for high-dimensional and high-volume data processing systems. Prior to founding CORTICA, Karina was COO and VP Product of LCB Ltd., developing high-end systems for real-time voice recognition.
As Chief IP Officer, Karina’s accomplishments have helped Cortica generate an IP portfolio of over 200 patents and inventions and maintain its position as a top patent holder in Artificial Intelligence.
Karina served in elite intelligence unit in IDF, leading a team of data production and analysis. Karina is part of a forum dealing with Israeli strategic homeland security issues.
Karina featured in the “Forty under 40” list of Israel in 2017, and one of the “top 20 leading entrepreneurs” in 2018.
